EXECUTIVE PROFILE
A 20+ year HCIT veteran, Hooman has led healthcare technology organizations and enterprise initiatives spanning on-premise and SaaS solutions, product strategy, complex interoperability, and business operations. He has worked at the intersection of technology, strategy, and execution, with a particular focus on helping organizations deliver technology that works for both their customers and their businesses.
Healthcare has always been his passion and the central focus of his career. He has held executive leadership roles in product management, data strategy, interoperability, client operations, and technology delivery, working with healthcare technology companies, federal and state public health organizations, hospitals, and health systems. His experience includes enterprise implementations, product and technology strategy, and the design and delivery of solutions supporting the complex flow of healthcare data. Interoperability has been a particular area of expertise, with extensive experience across HL7, CDA, FHIR, and other integration technologies. Throughout his career, he has remained focused on the customer, including how technology is implemented, adopted, supported, and ultimately delivers meaningful value.
Outside of healthcare, Hooman has built several companies from the ground up. He has founded and grown businesses in technology consulting and real estate, including a PropTech company that resulted in successful divestments. He continues to operate a real estate brokerage, where he remains directly involved in the business and its operations.
Today, Hooman brings together his experience as a healthcare executive, product and strategy leader, operator, entrepreneur, and technology consultant. His primary professional focus remains healthcare, with an emphasis on building and delivering technology that solves real problems, works for customers, and produces measurable results.
Hooman writes a series of executive perspective articles examining the forces shaping healthcare technology and leadership. His writing covers topics including AI, interoperability, implementation, customer success, and operational excellence. Rather than focusing simply on what technology can do, his articles explore what healthcare organizations actually need to change, how technology can create meaningful value, and what leaders must do to turn innovation into lasting results.
